What We Do
We can do restorations, body off or frame-up restorations and street rods or customs. Our new facilities were designed for this type of work. We opened in September of 1999 and have completed over 130 projects varying in complexity utilizing our quality staff. We have won numerous awards. Some of the awards won are: Dupont’s Top Gun award for 2000, 2001,2002 & 2003, various World of Wheel’s awards, several Best Paint, Best in Class and People’s Choice awards. Take a look around our site and see what we have to offer. We take pride in customer satisfaction.
Procedures:
All vehicles are given a restoration number and as tear down begins parts are shelved and smaller items are bagged according to their given number. During tear down, any parts in need of replacement are listed and ordered. Then the vehicle has the old paint removed down to bare metal. Repairs are made to any rust areas, all dents are metal finished and plastics are then applied where needed. Next we apply epoxy primer. Once the primer has cured, we begin block sanding using a guide coat. This process removes any imperfections remaining in the metal and allows for a flat finish. When this procedure is complete our project is ready for sealer and paint. Then we apply four good layers of clear coat. After the paint has cured for several days, it is then color sanded and buffed to a final luster.
Tear Down:
We start by tearing down the car to the frame in order to inspect and repair any damage done by old man time and the elements. To a great extent, this is the "defining time" when we get a true picture of the time and therefore costs that will be involved in the restoration.

Body Work:
The process now continues in earnest as we repair and replace damaged areas and parts. This is often the most time consuming part of the process and ironically, the part that is the most important and least obvious after the vehicle is completed.

Reassembly:
After we have repaired and replaced the damaged and unsightly components, we reassemble the car with the care of the manufactures in order to complete the restoration.

Paint:
We only use top quality paint products and apply them in our state-of-the-art downdraft paint booth. We carry Dupont and Diamont in house. We use House of Kolors frequently. We have also sprayed PPG and Glasurit.
